• Get rid of cigarette smoke by closing all the windows and doors and leaving the Elavo ozone generator to work its magic for 30 minutes in what is called shock treatment.

REMOVE CIGARETTE SMOKE ODOURS

Cigarette smoke is hard to remove as carbon monoxide, phenol, and ammonia gases and other toxic gasses are produced. In addition to this there are tar vapors become sticky when they contact surfaces and cause the odours to hang around for longer. 

Cigarette smokes clings to carpets, furnishings, drapes, soft materials, upholstery, ceilings and walls. Ozone gas is highly effective at removed cigarette smoke as it i able to get into hard to reach places and treat the affected areas. 

Cigarette smoke affects those with allergies and asthma, but also impacts the overall enjoyment of a hotel, motel, restaurant, bar to home. 

Ozone attacks odors at their source by oxidising the fumes and the residue on various surfaces. The ozone will go wherever air will flow and follow the same path that cigarette smoke took when contacting those surfaces, and even flows into vents, cracks and crevices to permanently remove cigarette odor.

HOW TO REMOVE ODOURS

Removing odours needs an assessment approach. You need to decide if the odour is mild or strong. If the odour is mild then turning on the ozone generator for a few minutes will do the trick but if it is strong then we recommend ozone shock treatment. 

OZONE SHOCK TREATMENT

Ozone shock treatment is reserved for the toughest of odours and requires the affected area to be cleared for a few hours so that no people or animals are present to breath in the ozone gas. 

1. Ozone removes odours but it is no substitute for old fashioned cleaning. First make sure that the mess is removed with a mild soap and water and any organic waste has been taken away

2. Clear the room for a few hours, we recommend putting up a sign to let others know not to enter the room as ozone can cause coughing and can be unpleasant. 
3. Once a few hours has passed go in and turn the ozone generator off
4. Open all the windows and doors and with 30 minutes for the ozone gas to turn back into oxygen
5. Your odours are removed
